Our Cloverleaf peep sight base will not work with the Smith & Wesson 1854 models, as the factory front sight is too tall. We are unaware of any front sights that will work and we are not pursuing the option of a spacer that would make our peep sight base taller.
Most Marlin and Henry factory triggers come with a 5# – 7# trigger pull. Our Marlin and Henry trigger kits uses a different sear angle and a precision cut sear edge to reduce friction and weight by around 2#. To reduce trigger weight even more, you can pair our trigger with a Wolff Reduced Power Hammer Spring [link] which reduces the weight of the hammer by one pound. Most Rossi triggers come with a 4# – 6# trigger pull.
Thank you for your order. Our system is not designed to add onto existing paid orders. As such, we can’t add an item to an order or promise to be able to ship two orders in the same box. First thing in the morning, we do look for two orders from the same email address and try to ship them in the same box. After this first morning review, all labels are printed out and orders are packed and shipped.
Our “Medium Loop” lever is bigger than the small factory levers but not as overly large as the large loop factory levers. For detailed answer, visit:
Several of our marlin 1895 trex components have received approval from the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) for competitive use. SASS-approved parts include our Rossi Trigger, Marlin Trigger, both Marlin and Rossi Loading Gates, and our lever assemblies. These competition-grade components meet SASS specifications while enhancing your rifle’s performance. Competitors can confidently use these parts knowing they comply with official rules. Check individual product listings for current SASS approval status and additional competition-ready options.
Thank you for your interest in our products. We’re sorry to inform you, we do not offer backorders. We try to have everything back in stock as quickly as possible.
Marlin and Rossi 95 levers have a “plunger hole” on top of the latch paw where a plunger and spring are installed down inside the hole and a cross- pin holds them in place.

From its proven, proprietary O-ring retention system to its smartly sculpted, protective bullet tip cups, this quiver was designed for lever gunners, by the people who love lever guns best. Ranger Point came up with our proprietary O-ring retention system several years ago while building custom rifles.
Thank you for your interest in our products. We are a manufacturer of aftermarket parts and not an FFL. We do not and can not offer gunsmith services.
It really depends on the rifle type – it’s possible for Marlin rifle but not in case of Henry Rifle.
While we don’t ship directly to international consumers, we have established a network of authorized dealers worldwide who can provide our gun parts to customers outside the United States. These dealers stock our complete range of lever action rifle accessories and can handle international shipping and local regulations. Visit our International Shipping page to find authorized dealers in your region and learn about availability of our products in your country. This ensures you can still access our quality parts regardless of location.
Thank you for your interest in our MAS Modular Accessory System. Why a Three Rail Arrangement? In order to meet all these goals, we split the top picatinny rail into 3 separate sections (one receiver rail and two Gator Rails that attach to the top of the handguard). The handguard can be used with all 3 picatinny top rails, one, none, or any combination of two. It’s worth noting that installing one or more Gator rails makes the handguard even stronger.
No we have added a cutout to all of our Henry G2 Handguards so that you can use the load port if you want.

The Marlin, Henry, Winchester, S&W, Gforce and Rossi M-LOK forearms have four push button sling circles one on each front side and two on the bottom for any of the quick detach or push button sling swivels on the market (e.g. GrovTec, Brownells, Uncle Mikes). We sell as an add-on, only when purchasing an M-LOK rail, the Grovtec heavy duty push button swivel (not sold separately on our website).
This movement is normal. The trigger MUST rotate forward due to the operation of the Marlin design.
We don’t make a drop in handguard for Marlin, Winchester, Rossi, or Henry H010 (H006 as well) at this time. You could certainly contact a gunsmith to have your rifle modified to work with our handguard. We highly recommend Armed Concepts Texas or JoJo’s Gun Works as we know they have done it for a wide variety of rifles already. The Henry Case Colored 357, 44, 45 Colt, and 30-30 models will accept our Henry centerfire handguards with no modifications.
Before beginning disassembly, verify that your rifle has standard forend mounting points. Most Marlins have one of two standard length forearm styles, but there are exceptions, such as Compact/Youth models and the odd 1894CL which are 3″ shorter.
Our modular butt stocks are made of five separate CNC machined parts which includes: two wrist pieces (left and right), one top and one bottom strut, and one butt plate. The two struts have rotation pivots on either end and attach to the wrist and the butt stock. This proprietary system helps the stock struts adjust up or down and therefore the entire stock back end behind the wrist.
Our adjustable butt stocks for Henry, Marlin, Rossi, Winchester, S&W 1854, and GForce lever action rifles feature a user-friendly adjustment system. We’ve created a comprehensive video tutorial that demonstrates the complete adjustment process for these rifle accessories. The video shows you how to customize the length of pull to match your shooting preference and body type, ensuring optimal comfort and accuracy. This adjustment capability makes our stocks versatile for multiple shooters.
Unlike AR-15 rifles, lever-action rifles do not need to index the comet brake or crush the washer.
Thanks for your interest in our products. We love designing for lever guns and are working as quickly as possible to have options for all of the rifle makers that we can.
The loading gate spring relies on proper tension to function smoothly during ammunition loading. If the bend angle is too flat or too exaggerated, you’ll experience feeding issues with your henry rifle accessories. We’ve produced a detailed video guide demonstrating how to fine-tune the spring bend for optimal performance. This adjustment process is straightforward and will ensure your loading gate operates perfectly. Making these minor adjustments can significantly improve your shooting experience.
For mounting your Rhino Scope Rail marlin 30-30 scope mount, we’ve prepared a detailed video tutorial covering the installation process including screw torque specifications. While we don’t mandate a specific torque value for receiver screws, the video demonstrates proper tightening technique to ensure secure mounting without damaging your rifle. Proper installation is crucial for maintaining zero and preventing scope movement during use. Following our video guidance will help you achieve a professional installation.
Replacement tenon https://rangerpointstore.com/m-lok-handguard-tenon/ – the fit is snug, but not excessively tight. A light friction fit will suffice, but a loose fit will be weak. If it’s too tight, slowly lap the flat on sandpaper over a flat surface, until the tenon can be drifted in with moderate force.
The MAS Modular Accessory System handguard features specific attachment points designed for Gator Rails to mount on top. However, our Ranger M-LOK handguards are engineered for gun owners who prefer a cleaner profile without a full-length top rail. These rossi 95 lever action compatible handguards offer M-LOK slots for modular accessory attachment instead. This design provides flexibility while maintaining a streamlined appearance for your lever action rifle.
We do not recommend a specific torque spec for the receivers screws to hold on your cloverleaf peep sight. Instead, we recommend you use a small amount of blue thread locker on the threads (never red!) and hand tighten the screws. You can also use blue or purple thread locker on the elevation and windage screws to help hold them in place once you’ve zeroed in the sights.
We stock two main types of replacement hardware for our marlin lever action rifles components. The 6-pack of flat socket screws (6-32 x 5/16) is designed for Gen 1 handguards, while we also offer button head screws for Gen 2 systems. Additionally, we provide Marlin and Rossi M-LOK forearm barrel band hardware.
Is the plunger hole in a different place? The plunger pin hole is one of two datum points that we use to machine the whole lever. The other point is the pivot screw hole. Both are drilled and reamed in the first operation, and if either is off (never happens) the lever will not fit either the Op2 or Op3 fixture, meaning it cannot be completed. The orientation of both datum points is taken directly from the factory spec, and never, ever, ever changes.
We offer a mil-spec 1913 picatinny style rail vs. the Weaver spec rail. Weaver mounting rails have slots that are .180″ wide and do not necessarily have consistent spacing between the grooves. Mil-spec picatinny slots are .206″ wide with a center-to-center groove width of .394″. Weaver mounts rarely work well on a mil-spec picatinny rail so we do not recommend purchasing them for our rails.
Lever-action rifles come with either a pistol grip or a straight grip butt stock which includes a specific trigger guard and lever loop that works only with that butt stock.
Hello and thanks for contacting us! All Marlin Dark models, regardless if they were made in Ilion, NY or Mayodan, NC (visible on barrel) accept the same Ranger Point Precision aftermarket butt stocks and handguards. All calibers of the Dark models use the PISTOL GRIP butt stocks and END CAP handguards. We also offer many parts, such as triggers, loading gates, optics rails, and more! SHOP MARLIN DARK PARTS.
Fits Marlin 336 30-30 and 35 Rem, Marlin 308, Marlin 338, Marlin 410, Marlin 1895 45-70 govt., Henry 30-30, Henry 410 and Henry 45-70 govt. The two-piece product incorporates the best of both lines, and even improves upon our original rail, bringing down the overall rail height for one of the lowest scope mounting heights available. This is a terrific benefit on Marlin and Henry lever action rifles with dropped comb butt stocks.
M-LOK, for Modular Lock, is a free licensed[1]firearm rail interface system developed and patented by Magpul Industries. The M-LOK system can be seen as an evolution of the Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) system, but the two are not fully compatible. Though newer M-LOK accessories can be used on older MOE slot handguards if an adaptor plate is used, there is no adaptor available for using older MOE accessories on the newer M-LOK handguards.
When our ammo quivers are brand new, the ammo may be a bit tight at first. Don’t worry, the rubber o-rings will wear with time and use. Leaving the ammo in the quiver for a while will also cause the o-rings to gain “memory” and this will help with ammo insertion and removal.
With Marlin rifles, you should almost never have any issues with running out of elevation adjustment. Our Cloverleaf Peep Sights are made specifically to work with your factory front sight height.
MARLIN FIREARMS 45-70govt, 30-30Win, 35Rem, 308MX, 338MX, 444, 450M, 357Mag, 44Mag,45Colt. [link] Every Parts page has FITS and NOT FITS bullets at the top. The two main choices you need to make are for the handguards and stocks. These are not interchangeable so just choose the one that looks like what you have on your rifle right now. Check out the photo to easily see which one you need. The handguard and two atop gator rails are universal.
The Ranger Point Marlin trigger reduces trigger weight via one side of the sear engagement equation, i.e. the sear itself. The sear mates with the hammer (like a handshake) at a small shelf referred to as the “hammer hook.” It is the height of this hammer hook–typically around 0.030″– that determines trigger travel prior to break.
Our Hammer Spur Extensions are designed to be a “one size fits most.” Our hammer spur extensions are designed to work with specific time periods that Marlin lever-action rifles were manufactured. There are times when your rifle has hammer that’s thinner or wider than the year it was made and there need an earlier or later time period model. We’ve included the specs so that you can measure your hammer with calipers to double check. Hammer Specifications – 1950’s slot is .055″ deep, .209″ wide.
The Glenfield line of rifles were designed to be sold in large outlet chain stores. Simply cheaper versions that were to be sold for less money. Rifles functioned fine, but birch was used instead of walnut and pressed checkering instead of hand-cut. Manufactured under the Glenfield name between 1964 and 1983. There are five models of Lever-Action Glenfields: 30, 30A, 30AS, 30GT and 36G. Chambered for .30-30 Win cartridges. Basic differences are slight and in most cases, merely cosmetic.
Each m-lok handguard comes with specific hardware tailored to your rifle model. For Henry or Smith & Wesson 1854 M-LOK Rail Systems, you’ll receive a 5/64 allen wrench, button socket cap screws, and all necessary mounting hardware. Marlin and Rossi systems include different specifications with their own complete hardware kits. The exact components vary by model, so it’s important to verify which system matches your rifle configuration.
Our dovetail fillers can not be mass produced to be a tighter fit and still match the barrel profile out diameter (OD) so perfectly. The edges are thin and delicate so there is no way to tap and hammer them into the dovetail slots. Barrel dovetail cuts are never exactly the same – depends on how new the machine cutter is at the time – the holes will range a bit in size.
There are a few models of Marlin 1895 rifles chambered in 45-70 govt. They all use the same parts [link] Model 1895G Guide Gun – Chambered for .45-70 Government cartridge. Has 18.5″ ported barrel. Straight-grip walnut stock, with cut checkering and ventilated recoil pad. Adjustable rear sight. Weight about 6.75 lbs. Introduced in 1998. Model 1895GS Guide Gun – Introduced in 2001. This .45-70 rifle fitted with 18.5″ ported barrel, with 4-round magazine. Stainless steel receiver and barrel.
We sell two peep sight that work universally on all Rimfire 22 rifles (Henry Rimfire, Rossi Rio Bravo, Ruger 10/22, etc.). Our peep sight slides onto the top of the receiver rail’s dovetail rail. Please note: We have seen some rifles with an out of spec dovetail cut that is too small so you can’t slide our peep sight onto the top of the receiver. If this is your rifle, you’ll need to return the sight for a refund.
The Glenfield rifles are identical to the Marlin 336 30-30 rifles. The Glenfield name was used on the b/c they were a white-label model sold in the Sears Roebuck catalogs. The Glenfield name was used on the b/c they were a white-label model sold in the Sears Roebuck catalogs.
