Product Description

Ranger Point profiled dovetail fillers are designed to "match the barrel curvature" and "flush mount" on sporter and big bore barrels. They WILL BE loose b/c the edges are fragile so they can't be tapped into place. Red loktite and it won't move for years to come.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

The Henry, Marlin, S&W, Rossi ... barrel dovetail cuts are never the same. Rifle Barrels are like Goldilocks and the Three Bears: 25% have a "too big" dovetail cut and it's loose, 25% have a "too small" cut and it needs to be filed to fit, and 50% have the "just right 3/8 dovetail cut" and it fits perfect. Bottom line: this is a cosmetic filler that is super-fast, curves with the barrel and is only $9 vs. the $35 other option that is too big for everyone, needs to be filed, and looks bad with a glob of metal sitting on top of the barrel.
